
The final conference of the project ARUPA (LIFE 08 / NAT / IT / 000372), co-funded by the EU LIFE + program, will be held 13 to 15 May 2015 in Matera, at the Provincial Media Library in Piazza Vittorio Veneto.
The event, organized by the University of Basilicata and the Coordinating Beneficiary , the Province of Matera, in collaboration with the other project partners (Ente Parco della Murgia Materana and TECLA Association), will consist of two days and a half: the two mornings of work will be organized on common activities, designed to explain all the actions and the products developed under the ARUPA project (www.arupalife.it), while the afternoons will be devoted to parallel sessions, whose purpose is to to deepen the various scientific issues related to the project activities through the involvement of researchers from the main scientific areas involved, including that of Agricultural Engineering, under whose auspices the scientific event is organized, and those related to the naturalistic aspects (botanical , floral, herpetological, etc.).
On the third morning it will instead take place the on site inspection in Gravina di Matera, part since 1995 of the SCI (Site of Community Importance) and SPA (Special Protection Area) Gravina di Matera Natura 2000.
